Ahhh...I remember the last day of chemo like it was yesterday and yes, it is a strange feeling like you're not going to be fighting the cancer anymore. We'll let God do the fighting for us! My last day of chemo I cried, and I cried and cried. Relief, milestone, accomplishment, end of a phase for receiving excellent loving care. I came to love my nurses so much, built relationships with them, appreciated so much the perfect care and encouragement. I still stop in to say hi to them when I see my oncologist. Your Oncology dept sounds every bit as wonderful. I'm ready to ring my bell for you on your last day Nikki. You've been a beautiful example of a young woman with courage and strength and a fierce faith in Jesus Christ!
