Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I made a list of things I am thankful for today...obviously I could not write everything but this is what came to mind today. God Bless you, Happy Thanksgiving! Health:I am thankful that I only had one cold this year. I never got food poisoning or the stomach flu. I also had no major infections. I was not hospitalized and never had to go to the ER. Family: I am thankful for Mike, Allie and Daniel. I am thankful for my parents, in-laws and our siblings and their spouses. Many of you came out multiple times this year and I am so thankful. Friends: I have had countless friends near and far pray over me this year. I also have an army of friends here in Hawaii caring for us. Meals, childcare, carpool, laundry, encouragement and prayers. I would have not been able to heal the way I have without you. Thank you. Finances: I am grateful for Mike's job and the provision we have had. Our insurance is so good that we have had to pay very little this year in medical bills. We have been blessed this year because finances have not been an additional stress during my diagnosis and treatment. I am also thankful for his command and their devotion to us this year. Medical Professionals: I am thankful for Dr. Clark, Dr. Peterson, Dr. Berenberg and Dr. Speirs for their treatment and guidance this year. I am thankful for nurses Jacqui, Cindy, Abby and Josh at the chemo clinic at Tripler Army Hospital. I am thankful to all the pharmacists, laboratory techs, nurse aids, and the radiation technicians at Cancer Center of Hawaii. Food: Tea and dark chocolate. Enough said. Rainbows: God really gave me a gift this year. This came in the form of literal and symbolic rainbows. He really spoke to me through rainbows and it allowed all of you to connect with me. I have been sent rainbows from around the world. This blog: This blog started out as a way to get information to a lot of people. It has become so much more than that. It has become a way to reach people all over the world. It has been a way to spread God's love, and also a way of feeling God's love. I am thankful for you reading so faithfully. Today: Lastly, I am thankful for today and that I am healthy and strong enough to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. If you had told me in May I'd be able to make Thanksgiving dinner I probably wouldn't have believed you. I am so grateful for my healing and health. Happy Thanksgiving!
